Hoosier Horse Park

Facilities

Indiana’s finest Equine show facility is the Hoosier Horse Park, located in the center of Johnson County Park along Schoolhouse Road. The facility hosted the 1987 Pan American Games Equestrian Events. Here are some features to Hoosier Horse Park:

  • Over 200 acres
  • Includes a beautifully landscaped Level 4 Cross Country Course
  • Baker Covered Arena which hosts many of our larger events
  • Three dressage arenas
  • Two large stadium jumping arenas
  • Two outdoor practice arenas
  • These arenas also have an announcer booth with tables, chairs, air conditioning and phone service
  • We have stalls for over 300 horses in our barns

We have recently added a year-round restaurant to our area. Cheyenne's Social Club Restaurant and BBQ Barn is open Wednesday - Sunday from 6:00am to 8:00pm, and Monday and Tuesday 6:00am to 2:00pm.

The Horse Park Office is located on Kern Street inside the fenced in compound. The office is housed adjacent to C Barn next to Baker Arena. Dunn indoor arena, with cut rubber tire footing, can be used year round for schooling, classes, or practice. All other arenas have a mixture of sand-topsoil footing, lights and sound system operating out of the announcer booth adjacent to each arena. The Horse Park hosts over 70 events annually beginning in February and running through October. We hosted the 2001 World Police and Fire Games, which brought in over 200 horses from all over the world for competition.
